Quick & Easy Installation Instructions
for Your Passenger Board
BOOT DR:
Using
a 5/16” hex wrench, remove the single bolt(s)
that
mount the board bracket(s) to the bike. This removes
the bracket
& board assembly(s) together.
With
the board in the extended (down) position, place the
Boot Dr on the inside surface of the board and mark
the
location of the mounting holes…these marks should
be 6
5/8” inches apart. Prick punch the marks and,
using a 9/64”
(.140”) twist drill bit, drill two holes thru
the board casting.
Attach the board with the supplied (2)
stainless-steel
#8 x 3/8” long Phillips Pan-Head Screws.
Note: These are self-tapping screws and
should be installed
square to the hole, applying a steady pressure as you
screw them in.
FOR
TOURING MODELS ONLY
When
re-installing the left-side board assembly, insert the
provided spacer between bracket & bike and use the
2” bolt provided in the kit. This will assure
clearing the derby cover when the board is folded up
when not in use.
You’re
done! So get out, ride safely and enjoy your new
BOOT DR™!
